Welcome To My Classroom!

Welcome to the Little Learning Ladybugs blog! I’m excited to show you around my kindergarten and first grade classroom and hopefully inspire you to take some ideas and resources back to your classroom. Above is a picture of my classroom. As you can see I LOVE having things color coordinated and organized! My classroom theme is none other than ladybugs with red, green, black, and white.

I have been teaching for nine years and I love looping with my classes from kindergarten to first grade. One of my favorite parts about looping is the strong relationships I’m able to build with students and families. I also love that we are able to start our second year from day one with systems and routines already in place from the year before. I work hard to establish strong classroom management in kindergarten since I know I will have my students for a full two years.
